The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level of administrative support for three to four property Sales Managers by providing support for company/enterprise-wide initiatives and/or tasks. They are acting as a liaison between property and clients to provide service and support consistent with property's core service standards and brand attributes. All duties are performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Contract preparation, proposals, edits, revisions, and turnover process to be completed in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
  • Process reservations, confirmations, cancellations, special handling alerts, and amenities.
  • Manage and maintain travel arrangements for Sales Managers.
  • Prepare expense reports and maintain files to highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Provide excellent service consistent with the property's core service standards and brand attributes and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships with clients and employees by understanding their expectations and anticipating their needs.
  • Assist in responding to customer correspondence and requests as needed, and in Sales Managers absence.
  • Receive incoming calls and assist where appropriate, evaluate the nature of calls and forward to appropriate departments
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma and equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of guest service experience

SKILLS:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to function under time constraints
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • Must have ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects within established timelines
  • Must be able to present information in clear, concise terms
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms
  • Proficiency in the following systems and programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills
